Hi there!
I’m back!! I want to apologize for being a little M.I.A. this last week on my website and for the last couple of weeks on Instagram. It has been a crazy couple of months and it has been hard to juggle everything.
I want to share with you some of the things that have been going on and some changes that will be coming to Eva’s Two Cents in the future.
House update
So, it has been some craziness going on the last couple of months to tell you the truth. Remodeling our home and working as a pastor family with two churches has been a challenge. We have been doing the work ourselves to save money, but that means that we can’t work consistently and therefore it takes awhile to finish a project. It has been a huge project to take on, but it is satisfying to see our work pay off.
Good things is we finally moved into our home a couple weeks ago! Our house isn’t finished, but we’ve come a long way. Last week, we finished getting our guest room ready for our first overnight guest. It took us most of the week to finish, but it looks beautiful! Picture are below.π

What’s going to change
Since I started, I have been trying to find my niche for this blog and find the direction that I wanted to take. In the last two weeks, I have prayed and thought a lot about where I wanted Eva’s Two Cents to go, and… I think I’ve found it!
For a long time, I have loved these three things: animals, making people happy, and planning our family vacations. If you ask anyone in my family, they can confirm that.π So this is the direction that I want to take my blog.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve posted a few videos of Niki. Well, one of the things that I will be posting on my blog is Niki’s journey as a service dog. So get ready for more videos of her.π
The second thing is I want to share with you the things I do to keep my home. These are things like recipes, hacks, and some relationship or family ideas/activities/tips. These little things I do and plan to make people happy.
The last thing I will be sharing is travel tips, hacks, and exciting adventures. I am planning several trips, nationally and internationally (fingers crossed). So excited to share what I will learn.
Thank you for reading and for being such great friends. We are on this journey together and I can’t wait to see where we go from here.π
