Did you make any New Years resolutions last week? Were any of them fitness goals?
I know we talked about some benefits of setting goals last week, but what motivates us to actually keep up with them?
Have you ever slacked on your fitness goals because of bad weather, or because it’s cold outside? I know I have. When it’s cold and cloudy outside it isn’t easy to get out from under the comfy blanket on my couch. But, there are ways of keeping up with your workouts even when the weather isn’t the greatest. Here are a few ways I have found that help me workout this winter.
- Find a partner.
- Finding a partner to workout with you is one of the best ways to stay motivated to exercise. Whatever the weather.
- For me this person is my husband. He has become my workout partner and motivator.
- Find a family member or a friend you can workout with and it will definitely motivate you and make it fun.
- Leslie Sansone’s 20 minute Walk at Home workout.
- Video
- This video is one of my favorite ways to workout inside. It is nice to have something to watch and work with. If you don’t have someone to workout with, or you like working out alone, this video is for you.
- BeachBody™ workout coaches
- Something else that might help if you don’t have someone to work out with and you are working out indoors, are online workout groups. The community helps you keep up with your workout goals with a group of people that can become great friends and challenge you.
- I have a friend, Nichole, who is a BeachBody™ coach. If you are interested in joining her workout group, visit her website or apply her code to your BeachBody™ order: 1695514
These are a few suggestions, but find what helps you keep up with your fitness goals.
Happy Workout!!
